Meet Ali Ellis Ali has been behind the chair since 2012, after graduating from Paul Mitchell and beginning what would become hundreds of hours of continuing education in cutting, color and extensions. She’s trained with three extension companies across five methods, with extensive education in her personal favorite: K-tips. Some of her best education, though, came from years spent mentoring new stylists (teaching is one hell of a way to keep learning). Behind the chair, Ali loves K-tip extensions more than is probably reasonable, but a dimensional blonde, a great weft and a smoothing treatment are close behind. Her philosophy is simple: your hair should make you feel more like you. Whether that means the length & fullness you’ve always dreamed of or simply spending less time fighting with your hair every morning, the goal is hair that fits your life, not the other way around. But the people are the best part. Ali’s chair is a come-as-you-are kind of place—no facade required. The more you’re yourself, the better she can understand your hair, your style, what matters to you, and the quicker you can get to the GOOD stuff! Outside the salon, you’ll find her walking West Nashville with her dogs Disco & Bailey, teaching spin at Cycle Haus, running races and triathlons, traveling with her husband, hosting friends, volunteering at TPAC, singing pop punk way too loudly in her car, or trying to befriend every animal at the Nashville Zoo.
